Our Mission: Serving Christ by Serving Others

The Copper Basin Crisis Center (CBCC) is a ministry of the Copper Basin Baptist Association. The CBCC ministers to 300+ families in high risk scenarios each month. We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization with a Bronze Level with the Candid GuideStar website. Our EIN # is 46-2798306.  We partner with groups, ministries, and organizations across the Southeast area to provide relief services for those in need. Please join us in prayer for the ministry to share the gospel and to provide help, hope, and healing through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Our Services

Copper Basin Crisis Center was established in 1986 by the Copper Basin Baptist Association as a means of providing support to those who were out of work due to the closure of the Copper Mining Industry.  The ministry has evolved to include providing support to families and individuals who are experiencing a crisis or difficult situation. Below are some examples of how we serve the Copper Basin Community and beyond. We serve families in the tri-state area of Tennessee, North Carolina, and Georgia.

We love to host events not only to help the underserved, but to bring the community together. We love sharing the love of Jesus with others through events such as providing Thanksgiving and Christmas meal kits, distributing school supplies, collecting and giving out Christmas gifts and backpacks, hosting family fun days, and Vacation Bible Schools

CBCC collaborates with local organizations, Tennessee Baptist Convention, and ministries across the Southeast each month to provide food, clothing, cleaning /hygiene items, baby supplies, furniture, appliances, and financial support to those in need. All of these services are FREE  to those coming for help. For those needing assistance of this type, please contact  us to see how we can provide some help to you.  We also have incredible partnerships to refer for counseling or other clinical needs.

If you have a group of friends, youth or adult ministry, Bible study group, or church looking to serve God and others, we are always ready for you! Mission teams can serve onsite by doing home repairs, providing facility improvements, hosting an event, or working in the food or clothing service areas. If you would like to work in your local area rather than on-site, you could host a drive for needed items, pray for the ministry, or provide financial support. If your group needs to log community service hours, we can provide that documentation for you!
